When we drove up to the park early that morning, Dad was surprised to see that the sand dunes were white.  He said they were supposed to be brownish.  As we got closer, we realized they were covered with snow!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_772\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/4wheels4girls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/sanddunes_white.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-772\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/4wheels4girls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/sanddunes_white.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"108\" class=\"size-full wp-image-772\" srcset=\"https:\/\/4wheels4girls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/sanddunes_white.jpg 500w, https:\/\/4wheels4girls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/sanddunes_white-300x64.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-772\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The dunes were covered with fresh snow<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I groaned when I realized I&#8217;d have to get on all my snow gear.  As I reluctantly got on my snow gear, I glanced out the window and spied a pretty little bluebird.  It looked just like my little Acoma!  They both had a tiny bit of black on their wings and their beaks were short, black, and pointy.
